Kolo Collection Celebrates 10 Years

Ten years ago, Michelle and Greg Martin opened a new outdoor furniture store concept in West Midtown. Since opening with two lines of furniture (all wood), two lines of umbrellas, and a few accessories, Kolo Collection has evolved into a showroom that features manufacturers and materials from all over the world. Michelle and Greg are both graduates of the Art Institute and have over 40 years of experience working in the design industry. Kolo Collection has been an Apollo Award finalist (the industry award for best outdoor furniture store) 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2012. The showroom received the “2012 Best Outdoor Furniture Store”,Jezebel magazine, “Best New Outdoor Furniture Store 2003” and “Best Outdoor Furniture Store 2005”, Atlanta magazine, “Best Store Front Single Store”, Casual Living, and “Top 25 Garden Shops” Garden Design.  Additionally, Kolo Collection has been featured in Hearth & Home, Southern Living, The New York Times, Cottage Living, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, The Atlantan, Atlanta and Atlanta Home Improvement.
