Spring is upon us and what better way to get ready for the weather than by installing a retractable screen.  A few months ago, I was at friend’s house for a dinner party and although the weather was definitely cooler it was nice to cool things off by opening the door.  After visiting for awhile, I realized the open door had a screen door on it, which I thought was odd, because I didn’t see the actual door when I walked outside earlier.  After closer examination, I realized it was a retractable screen.

I asked my friend Colleen, “When did you get this?”  Colleen informed me that she was visiting her parents in Charleston during the summer and they had installed them on their porch doors, so they could enjoy the summer nights sans the bugs. Colleen said, “Because it was so pleasant to enjoy the elements with out the annoyance of nature, I came home and I had them installed on the doors in my home.”
