The Vinings/Smyrna Collection
Great local shopping abounds in this historic area off I-285 that feels less like suburb and more like a charming small town.

We encourage you to visit these stores in person.

1. The Nest

The Nest will shock you. You think you’re entering a quaint, converted little home. Instead, you’ll find three sprawling floors of fashion, accessories and home goods. One entire floor is devoted to Smyrna-area artists, which is where we fell in love with the artwork shown here, by Paula Landry. See NestInSmyrna.com for hours and details.

2. Dragonfly Boutique
Drive down Concord Road and you can’t help but notice this sweet boutique with its dragonfly artwork and bright blue paint job. Inside, owner Kathy Shedd has curated some truly unique gifts, accessories and fashion from talented artisan and craftsman. Stop by for a one-of-a-kind gift, like the funky wood and gear sconces shown here by CDM Interiors. Call 770-801-9933.

3. Modify Atlanta
Step into this serene space and you’d think you were in the middle of Phipps Plaza, not right off busy South Atlanta Road! Smyrna residents Jack and Julia Mattern recently opened Modify Atlanta to complement their booming design business. Visit ModifyATL.com or stop in at 3691 Atlanta Road SE. This intricate ottoman is just one of many beautiful home goods available.

4. Love Street
What’s not to love about this darling shop? There is so much exceptionally cute stuff at Love Street, it spills out onto the front yard like a Willy Wonka waterfall of neat handmade one-of-a-kind gifts and home décor. 5. All The Best
At the other end of town, tucked into the upscale Vinings Jubilee plaza, is the spacious shop called All The Best, offering holiday décor and gifts, accessories and antiques. We chose this Union Jack chair because it represents both their unique furniture and also their abundance of hard-to-find Downton Abbey accessories! Call 678-424-1118 for more information.
