The Hot Lips Hustle race was founded by a 12 year old Marietta girl who was born with cleft and wanted to help children who otherwise can’t afford treatment for this disfiguring birth defect. All proceeds help fund The Smile Train, a non-profit organization that performs life changing surgeries on children worldwide with cleft lip/palate.
The family-friendly, dog-friendly 5K run/walk will be held on September 20, 2014 at 8:00AM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church off of Sandy Plains Road in Marietta. We host a live DJ, ice cream bar, chip timing (a plus for all runners), great trophies and fantastic t-shirts. Our anniversary celebration will be more enjoyable than ever before.
The Hot Lips Hustle is an annual event. To date the Hot Lips Hustle has raised enough money to fund surgeries for over 200 children suffering with cleft lip
How You Can Help
In the previous years' races, the Hot Lips Hustle has had over 400 registered runners and so many generous volunteers and sponsors that make the race possible. However, we want the race to continue growing and we need your help! Please come out and run, walk, or support the race. Spreading the word about the race to friends and family is a big help that is greatly appreciated. Also, if you know anyone interested in sponsoring, please have them contact us
